Bike week in Daytona !

I haven't been to bike week since I was a kid way back in the 70 s ! I know most all  bike rallies are the same , But I would love to go to this one , being in the sun shine state would really be great ! Not that I don't love Tennessee mountains and all the good places to ride here but it sure would be nice to see a palm tree and fill the sand on my feet ! Just not going to happen for me this year ! Some of my buddy's are going and I know there going to have a great time and that's what it is all about ! You guys need to take lots of picture for me ! Ha Ha !   I drew one just like I was there !

Spring comes early !

We had no winter this year maybe two weeks of cold weather. It is only 21 st of Feb. and we had warm weather here for 2 or three weeks ! The flowers are coming up and the trees are budding . So I've got the trike out to clean the dust off, not ready to ride cause of my circumstances and money . It seems to be running good .The day is coming that I will be able to do what I love , God willing !                       

70 s in February

Been a long time since I had been even able to post a on this blog ! Today the weather is really weird for sure ! The nice thing about it was seeing a sign from God !

chopper update pictures

I've been getting all my wiring done on the chopper . Got all my lights working the only part I haven't got yet is a horn and a housing for my oil light , Needed to space out my rear fender 3/4" got theses made up . Now I'll be prepping the parts up more be for painting .                                                                                                                                          

Spacers made for fender and looks pretty close to what I was looking for .

Old stuff that brings the past back

I found some old center caps in a box in my shed . They were covered with mud and I had no idea that they were any good at all . I hadn't seen any of these old ET center caps since the 70's . I was needing a set after I lost my spinners a few years ago so this was a nice find for the trike , doesn't look have bad ether ! Some times you got so much junk you don't know what you got til you start going though it !

Harley recalls

Harley-Davidson is recalling nearly 46,000 motorcycles in the U.S. because they could stay in gear due to clutches that won't fully disengage.
The recall covers certain Electra Glide, Ultra Limited, Police Electra Glide, Street Glide, Road Glide and Road King models from the 2014 and 2015 model years.
Harley says in documents that gas bubbles can cause the clutch master cylinder to lose its ability to fully disengage the clutch, especially if the bike has been parked for a long time. This could cause a rider to lose control of the motorcycle if it's started in gear.
The problem was found through customer complaints. Harley reported 27 crashes and four minor injuries.

Dealers will flush the clutch and rebuild the master cylinder. The recall was to start April 23.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               What can I say ! Harley's are the reason I started riding street bikes in the first place but for this big of a recall on there top dollar bikes ? WTF have you guys lost it or what ! I think your trying to much to up grade with out enough R and D besides if you would leave it alone for more than a year or two you won't have stuff like this happening !
